18 years strong!
by Mercury on 1/16/2025 7:46:55 AM
My grandparents bought it new in 2007 and I got in 2018 and it has been such a blessing. I’m at 199k and the engine and transmission run perfect! The only major thing I’ve had to fix is struts a few months back. Unfortunately the leather in the driving seat have started to crack/rip in a few places (probably due to lack of maintenance) I’m confident this car will make it 250k-300k and just took a 450 mile round trip. The only thing that doesn’t work is the drivers side heated seat. - 4.0
Comfortable and spacious
by spartygal on 1/20/2021 7:05:52 PM
I have owned this vehicle since Jan of 2007 (34K), Jan of 2021 now has 178K. I really like this car...that is why I have kept it so long. The major problems I have had are: at about 70K the transmission needed replacing, where the dealer wanted 5K+, I got it repaired for 2400. The A/C compressor went in Aug 2017. I got 2 years out of it (thank goodness it had a 2 yr warranty), so it was fixed in Aug 2019 but failed again in Aug of 2020. Right now I am debating whether or not to fix again or buy another used car. The passenger side tail light was out in 2019 and I had to replace the whole unit...found on ebay for about $175. Unfortunately, in this vehicle you can't just replace the bulb, you have to replace the whole tail light assembly, but it was easy enough to do myself (senior lady). I get about 23 mpg mixed highway/city. My driver side heated seat went out in 2011 and I found a place that puts in a new one for $150 (I never go to the overpriced dealerships) and it has been working fine for over 10 years. Other than that, just maintenence. Brakes, battery, tires, water pump, air filter, etc. - 5.0
Very reliable and safe daily driver
by Skip on 9/30/2019 2:09:19 PM
I have owned many high end cars, BMW, Mercedes, Range Rover, Volvo, Audi and the list goes on. Without doubt, this is the most reliable and economical car that I have owned. Timeless styling, roomy, comfortable interior, and excellent reliability. Only CON is that it is a little slow off the line, but for a safe, AWD daily driver, it is the best automobile that I have owned. Highly recommend.
